As a sound artist and experimental electronic musician, my work focuses on reactive and interactive multimedia, experimental digital and analogue audio, and the creative re-use of both old and new media artefacts. I organised and ran the Brighton Modular Meet at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, an annual gathering of modular-synthesiser enthusiasts, synth-DIY builders, musicians, artists, manufacturers and sellers. My practice centres on modular synthesis, video and oscilloscope-based displays, and the use of vintage and contemporary electronic instruments to explore alternative approaches to audio-visual performance and media archaeology.
